PARISH GARAGE SALE AND BBQ HUGE SUCCESS
Congratulations to the members of the Parishes that contributed a vast array of goods for the Garage Sale the last two Saturdays and the large group of volunteers who worked so hard to make it such a success. The Garage Sale raised close to $5,000 for the Journey. The Journey BBQ was also a success through the assistance of the many volunteers including the experienced cooking group from the Knights of Columbus. The CWL Bake Sale was truly spectacular. Kudos to the men of the Knights of Columbus that baked 30 pies and donated them to the CWL. The hard work of all those involved raised $1867 from the bake sale of which more than $1200 is being donated to the Journey. Thank you to all the volunteers, the Huron Superior Catholic District School Board, Tim Horton’s, M&M’s, Second Hand World and the Ken Brown Recovery Home. These are good days for all Catholics.
